The PA Financing Project is a national initiative executed by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and implemented by the Department of Wildlife and National Parks (DWNP), Malaysia. It is supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF).

THE DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE AND NATIONAL PARKS
The Department of Wildlife and National Parks (DWNP) is the main federal agency under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment responsible for the management and enforcement over wildlife species under the jurisdiction of the Wildlife Conservation Act 2010 [Act 716] and the conservation of biodiversity resources within protected areas in Peninsular Malaysia.
